Shell Mold Casting

Similar to sand casting, shell mould casting is a metal casting process sithat molten metal is poured into an expendable sand-based mould.Shell mould casting definitely has its advantages compared to sand casting. For starter, it provides better dimensional accuracy and higher productivity. This process is also less labour-intensive than sand casting. However, the cost is usually higher. Both process have its advantages and limitations.
