Cooling: Once the cavity is filled, the molten metal rapidly solidifies as it comes into contact with the cooler die surfaces. Cooling time is crucial to ensure proper solidification and dimensional stability of the part.

Ejection: After the part has cooled and solidified, the die opens, and the ejector pins push the casting out of the cavity. The part is then removed from the machine, and any excess material, such as flash, is trimmed off.

Finishing: Depending on the specific requirements of the part, additional finishing processes may be necessary, such as machining, polishing, or surface treatments like painting or powder coating.

Inspection: Finally, the castings undergo rigorous inspection to ensure they meet quality standards. This may involve visual inspection, dimensional measurement, and testing for defects such as porosity or surface imperfections.
